Happy Birthday Ryan

Happy Birthday on Monday, Ryan. I wanted to get you a Laser Jacket, but my attempts to make one have been both uninspiring and painfully disastrous, so you'll have to settle for dinner at our house at some future date. I think you should still try and get one of these though, as it seems like it's specifically built to blast you to the forefront of the local music and social scene.

This book is the greatest thing to come along in my life since....I don't know, a long time ago.  I love it with a very true love.  I want to cuddle it in my sleep like I used to do with my favorite toys when I was little.

It's a collection of 40 very short meditations on the afterlife that are so creative and refreshing and thought-provoking I can hardly believe it's real. I thought the stories would make a good base for discussions here.  Wanna read the book?! Huh?  Huh?!
